Spring: Watch the return of the Pelicans and other migratory birds

Summer: Biking, boating, hiking, wineries, eating, antiques, flea market, community events, festivals, get wet and wild at Raging Rivers water park, ride the Brussels Ferry across the Illinois River to Calhoun County for peaches and  enjoy a scenic drive on the Great River road.

Fall: See the leaves change color along the Great River Road, pick apples and pumpkins at Eckert’s Orchard and attend the owl walk at Pere Marquette State park .

Winter: Watch the eagles as they fish from the ice flows and soar overhead and at the end of the day curl up and read a book.
